Our Aftercare programme includes both learning and play and the children will be under the supervision of Morah Stacey Lipschitz (Grade R teacher) and Rachel Tefu (Playschool assistant).
The programme will take place in the Nursery School and will start on Thursday 14 January 2016.
A form with the relevant details must please be completed when enrolling your child in Aftercare and handed in to Michelle in the office. Please contact Michelle in the office should you need Aftercare at short notice. Please do not message your child’s teacher.
In order to accommodate the needs of parents, the hours of Aftercare have been extended:
Monday – Thursday: 12.30 pm – 4.00 pm
Friday: 12.30 pm – 2.30 pm
Please note that Aftercare will not be available on Fast days, Erev Chag and Break-Up day.
It is very important that these times are adhered to.
Fees are as follows:

12.30 pm – 2.30 pm = R60.00
12.30 pm – 4.00 pm = R75.00

12.30 pm – 2.30 pm = R600.00
12.30 pm – 4.00 pm = R750.00
A healthy lunch must be sent with your child to school in a sealed container or packet. All food must be Beth Din kosher. As we are a nut- and fish free school, no food containing either of these ingredients may be sent. This is for the safety of those children who have life-threatening allergies to these foods.
Playschool children will walk down to the Nursery School, accompanied by Rachel.
Nursery School/Grade R
Assistants will accompany children in the Nursery School and Grade R to Aftercare.
Grades One and Two
The Aftercare programme will also be available for children in Grades One and Two. The children will need to walk independently to the Nursery School.
Should a child attend an extra-mural before coming to Aftercare, it is the responsibility of the parents to inform the extra-mural provider that the child will be attending Aftercare. The extra-mural provider needs to accompany the child to Aftercare.
Children in the Playschool and Younger Group may only attend Aftercare once they are doing a “full” day of school and are settled.
